Unfortunately no suppressors in this one but maybe next year. Has Castle doctrine in it.

Can't underestimate his stupidity but I assume he would sign it. He loves guns...didn't you see him pheasant hunting on TV

Castle Doctrine would be nice now that the wife and I have found a castle.

The last time this came up and they failed to vote on it before session ended I sent my senator an e-mail so harsh, he called me personally about 10 minutes after I sent it. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
Anyways he actually was firm supporter of the bill, but said Dayton will never sign it. You never know though...... even the liberals in MN are slowly turning more pro-gun. If nothing else it will make him the bad guy if he chooses to veto it, thus reducing his chances for re-election. Keep your fingers crossed. I've also heard that if they can get the suppressor amendment for law enforcement personnel through they will try to make it extend to the general public within the next year or two......Baby steps

Law enforcement can already use them. The two bills allow dealers and manufacturers to possess them.

There are more than enough trolls on the HTF to properly staff a bridge on the way to the moat when you pass by the dragon in front of the castle.

Just saying...

I still hate the watered down MN castle doctrine and selfishly hope it gets killed, so that the proper law can get passed They are missing some of the most important aspects of the fl and tx castle doctrine. namely immunity from civil liability in a clean shoot. the MN bill allows you defend your home but then retains the ability of the criminals family to take every thing, but your life in a civil suit. this is not a law that deserves half measures and compromises to get passed.
