Does anyone know who stocks a large number of lowers around the Twin Cities? Looking for a higher end one to complete a nice upper build.

Thanks for the info, I found a nice Mega Lower at a great price.

Element Arms. OR... Find exactly what you want, buy it and have it shipped to you local FFL. Instant gratification? No. But it's sometime worth the wait.

Gunstop's usually got a few in stock, as does Element Arms...

Bills (as of a week ago) had SPIKES, RRA, BLACK RAIN ORDINANCE, and a couple other brands (cant remember), but they had a lot of them. Buy what you want, but I always but the cheapest one, they are all the same.

There are certainly some subtle differences between lowers, but most lowers from quality manufacturers should be good to go.

You can get them in a wide array of price ranges, and a vast majority have good parts fitting and compatibility.

Most of the subtle differences you will see in the final machining, lack of tool marks, fitting, and finish.

If I recall correctly, Element often has PlumCrazy, SharpsMilSpec, DPMS, CMMG, Rock River, a variety of Spikes Tactical, Rguns, ParaUSA, POF, STAG, Primary Weapons System, and others. A variety of reinforced Polymer, Forged, and Billet lowers are usually available. Inventory varies because some lowers sell out faster than others.

If you are looking for something that is functionally better than a standard lower, consider AXTS or MEGA GTR both are full ambi lowers including bolt catch and safetys. The MEGA being about half the price of the AXTS.
