Just curious. I haven't been to St. Cloud in awhile and would like an excuse to go back up there.

I don't think so......I have been out to the factory twice and the first time was told No..but the first time was in Becker...didn't know about the open house, and that would be great to do

You could also check with them in the DPMS section of the industry forum.

I think they do something along those lines during the 3 gun competition as well.

If someone hears about an open house give us a heads up. I would be interested in seeing it too.

I have yet to have a good experience with them. They talk down to you when you ask a simple question about any of their products. Christ, most of them aren't even veterans. They talk about Government contracts but I've been in the military for 20 years and have yet to meet ANYONE that has been issued a dpms weapon.

Customer service is EVERYTHING. One gun or one hundred.

AR_RON sorry for the slight hijack in progress.

#1 I am proud that I have the ability to speak my mind freely.

#2 This, not being your websight or even your thread I think you have no right "to lay down the law"

#3 I can make a difference, I can teach you to use "upper case" letters, it wont change the world, but it is a small contribution.

Dont take this personal it is the internet after all. I just did not think you had a right to go off topic on the guys thread about tours, that was what he was asking about. If you had/have a beef with DPMS, start a thread and rant on, that is what this place is all about. There are many here who know a great deal about all kinds of arms and they all are not vets. Regards, m-dc

A DPMS Rep will quite possibly be at Bill's Gun Shop & Range for the Spring Shooters Show.

If you can meet with him in Robbinsdale, maybe he can get you an appointment for a St. Cloud tour?

Well I kind of take this one to heart. “There are no vet’s here” sir I am and I am the Sales Manager. I understand Most of the People here are not Vets but there are 9 of us here and PROUD. Government contracts don’t always mean a line platoons. There are a lot of contracts out there Parts and Rifles are just a start. I am sorry you or your people you talk to have not heard of DPMS in Government contracts. It sounds like you had a bad experience with one of our sales staff if so I am sorry and would make it right.

DPMS Sales Manager

Back to the Question DPMS does not due Factory tours. We do some tours during our Tri-Gun in August.

I know Dustin and he's a good guy.

Thanks for clearing that up, Dustin.

rgrprib, why would you basically flame everyone on this board with that post? There are a lot of non-vets here and some vets. My Dad, uncles, grandfathers are all vets, but I'm not. Does that make me less of a patriot? I'm still ready and willing to protect my country. John Kerry was a vet, but I think he's the enemy of gun-owners in America. That line of reasoning just doesn't work here.

Maybe you're jkust having a bad day, and if so, I'm sorry. Thanks for your service, and if you served in Viet Nam, welcome home, soldier.

What kind of BS is that? I will hazzard the question........ what are you a veteran of? being a cook in the difac? What did YOU do to make adifference in the world? There hasn't been a war in recent history where american was REALLY threatened by invasion or take over. So unless your 70yrs old...... go stick your "Im a vet, I volunteered to be a pawn for the gov't, worship me, Im better than you" attitude where da sun don't shine. I think you'll find yer shit stinks just as bad as everyone else's.(maybe worse)

~D~

PS> Clarification..... I do appreciate what REAL (defend america) veterans have done for this country. ... political pawns.... Im sorry you got gyped.

PSS> I don't know if DPMS offers tours, it'd be nice if they did
