Lexington gun show

Is anyone going to the gun show in Lexington next week? Im trying to talk myself into it, but not having much luck. 
Its usually the same dealers, with mostly the same, over-priced stuff that they have been trying to sell for years! I went to the last one, and it was pretty depressing.

They're all boring after you've been once. If you're not 60 you don't know anything to them. Half those old farts didn't know what an HKP30 was when I went to the one in Somerset. Shame.

Depends on what you are looking for.
I have found some of my best deals on C&Rs at the Lexington shows. Even better than the internet.
I picked up a Swede M38 Mauser last year in near mint condition for $190. They normally go north of $400.
It is hit and miss sometimes but I feel it is still worth going for the occassional good deal.

i think i might take some 1911s up there and try it havent been to the last couple hopefully it is better then the last one i went to

There's a handful of dealers I go to talk to and trade with. Pretty good idea if you're looking for something specific and you'll be willing to slowly peruse the offerings.

Eh, I will likely go. It is local to me so I figure it is worth the entrance fee to browse around for a few hours and maybe find a deal.

I took my son the last time it came to Lexington trying to find some bulk ammo, but came away empty handed and $15 poorer. Overall it was pretty disappointing....not to mention a couple of guys walking around in plate carriers/chest rigs (No impact No idea)!

I have to admit, i did get a good deal last year. I bought 8 Norinco .223 AK mags for $12 each!! 
Problem is, now i have to try and find a .223 Norinco AK to go with my mags!! Lol!!
