My fiance just phoned and told me she has acquired a ticket for a couple mph over ten. While hauling some barrel horses down to see a vet up from Texas. She was apparently cited by a Graves County Officer. Anyone have some recommendations for local traffic lawyers to get this reduced to a non moving violation.

Thank you for any suggestions.

It should just be a prepaid ticket. Even if it's reduced down you'll still end up paying money, probably about the same amount.

I'll have more info about location and such tomorrow after I read the ticket, but really just wanna avoid any points on my future wife's driving record for insurance cost reasons
purposes. In Missouri some lawyers specialize in doing this kinda work. And for a liltle bit more a speeding ticket becomes a non moving violation there for no points = no added costs for years later.

Traffic school is one way to do it. That may not be an option for non residents though.

Don't know about getting it down to a no moving violation in most cases. However, I have done it in the past when "arguing" the matter myself.

Wait about 3 days. Both my wife and I got a pile of ambulance chaser lawyers mailing us stuff after we got our tickets.

Thisused to be true but now many more states share that info than don't .
MO and KY do apply info to the same data base.

If i were you I would advise her to go to court and the judge will recommend traffic school in a couple weeks they will mail you enrollment letter. Once you get this go to the link I included below and choose the online course. It costs a little less than $50 but would be a heck of a lot cheaper and easier than a lawyer. Once satisfying this zero points would be deducted from license.
