May be moving to Hopkinsville?????

Have a job interview there on Monday. From Owensboro but in MO for past 18 years. What is city/county like now? What about public shooting areas or clubs??? Any comments would be appreciated.

There are two public ranges within easy driving distance of Hoptown. Land Between the Lakes have a fairly nice range and Jones Keany WMA has a range managed and maintained by the Caldwell Sportsmans Club. Both are FREE. Membership in the Caldwell Club is $15 a year and gives you the privilege of fixing bullet holes in the roof and cleaning up other people's trash.
Todd County has a private range with a cap of 125 members and a membership fee of $35
The Shell Shop in Hoptown has a 2 lane indoor range.
There are plenty of other ranges within an hour or so of town.

You might also check out the surrounding areas. Housing is a buyers market right know.

Tri State county Range - just outside Madisonville is great ,they made a group of Brit shooters very welcome last year as did Owensboro Gun club for the 3 Gun match
