Dealership > buy here pay here

I always have them throw in a extended warranty for the asking price.

Never delt with them, but there all the same to me. IMHO.

I have dealt with Bachmann Chevrolet but not the Subaru store. Nothing spectacular but they are not not con artists or anything. Typical dealership.

If you're looking at a Subaru, we found a negotiated a better deal at Beechmont Subaru in Cincinnati. This was two years ago, before Quantrell lost Saturn and took on Subaru.

Honestly, thats all I want in a car dealer.

10-4 on Cincinnati too. I'll check there and see what is available.

I would recommend 44 Auto. They have given us GREAT deal on several vehicles we have blown to pieces at the KY Hometown Forum shoot. Anyone who supports the HTF by selling us cars for $100, should be supported by the HTF if they have what you want.

I'm working with Wayne. Seems like a decent chap so far.

This is my second encounter with a Subaru dealer. Even though my last one didn't lead me to buy a car, it was not unpleasant. So far I've been happy, they've been helpful, knowledgable, and polite.

Also the Subaru dealership isn't posted, which is a plus in my book!

Well I got a car. '08 Outback XT. I think its a good car. Pretty much everything I wanted in a car, wagon, leather, manual trans, turbocharged, AWD. Should be a fun ride.

I had an OK experience with Wayne. I showed up with the checks and the right paper work, they then kept me waiting over an hour to verify funds and to do the bloody paperwork. They then managed to spell my name wrong and had to re-do it. Annoying. Pro-tip, when the car dealer does this take the key and go get your mirrors adjusted and fiddle with the seat and program the radio. Its a better use of your time than making small talk.

Did the usual "here talk to Brad" who hadn't shaved in 2 days but did manage to wear a shirt with cufflinks and then acted like I just shit on the rug when I turned down the extra warranty. Not unexpected, but jeez does that really work? Also, if you act annoyed when I read what I am signing, it makes you a dick.

I got home and noticed there weren't any headrests on the rear seat. I called them right away and asked what was up. I don't have a legal leg to stand on, as-is where-is and all that, but I certainly hope that Bachman Subaru will be able to make this right.

Overall, I don't feel I was treated poorly by Bachman Subaru and I got a fair price on my car. However Bachman Subaru really didn't manage to rate any better than the average retail transaction.

Good news. Popped in to talk to Wayne today. He took care of the problems.

I didn't have to fuss or get tough, told him what was up and he's trying to find my headrests. If he can't, he'll order a set.

Also noted the hazard lights didnt work, he is taking care of that too.

So yea, Wayne Acree at Bachman Subaru is a good guy to do business with and Subaru makes a hell of a car.
