Have him jump on www.northeastshooters.com and introduce himself. There are tons of folks local to Boston that belong to various clubs on that forum.

If he's living in college housing, there is no way that he could legally store any guns/ammo on the property and he'll never get a gun permit out of the City of Boston (required for possession and age restricted as to what he can possess) either.

I wish that site had more NH involvement.

As Derek stated above, there is plenty of "NH involvement" on NES.

Almost all NES Shoots are now held in NH due to the stupidity of MGLs and "re-interpretations" by EOPS that almost no guns can be brought into MA from out of state for a "competition" legally.

A number of group buys were run out of NH as well. [NOTE: Group buys and shoots are open to paid members only, so you won't see them if you are a "registered user".]

There is a lot of discussion about NH gun shops, etc.

When it comes to discussions of laws, yes NES is "MA-centric" but that's because NH RSAs on guns are a page or two long and MGL on guns takes 450 pages to explain!!

That forum (just like this one) is what it is due to the participation of members. I look here and think this HTF is mostly "CT-centric" due to mostly CT'rs participating. So my suggestion is go over to NES and start participating. Even many of us from MA try to learn from you folks because we are planning "exit strategies" to escape to Free America (NH) eventually.
