I have wondered about this for a long time now and i need to know what you think.....I am a right handed shooter and i want a nice long distance rifle. I am looking at a par of left handed action rifles in 223 and 308. My question is how many of you shoot a left handed rifle right handed?? I talked to someone that said that some people do this so they never have to take there eye off the target and what not....What does everyone here think????
Are you right handed and left eye dominant.?
I shoot both eyes open for situational awareness and filed of view, but that's only with my carbine, handgun, shotgun. A long shooter with a high power scope may be different for me, not sure. Then again with my 1-4x mounted on the carbine, I still shoot both open out to 100 yrds.
That was absolutely no help to you huh? Sorry.

Why would you get a left handed action if you are a right hand shooter? I am a right handed shooter and don't have to take my eyes off the target to cycle a right handed bolt action. However, if you do repeat the motion enough times then muscle memory takes over. I hope you are getting a screaming deal on the pair, otherwise I would pass for standard "righty" actions.
Besides, it will be difficult finding left handed bullets.
Left handed shooters make the world turn the opposite direction.
