"PLYMOUTH, N.H. ––
Phone Interview With Brad Jardis
Two activists plan to walk on the campus of Plymouth State University on Friday with guns, arguing against a school policy that prohibits guns on campus.
They call the university rule illegal........."
The comments are mind blowing.
Guns do not belong on campus. Period. As far as I'm concerned, they also don't belong in the grocery store or the library or the local park. What is the point?
I feel safe on campus because of the work the local police officers do. I am proud to live in damb near the safest state in the nation. I have been a student at PSU for four years and there has never been a concern for gun violence except for now when such law abiding citizens are making sure that they get plenty of publicity for bringing them onto campus
As a student here at Plymouth State, I know a lot of other students here that are frightened
No one should carry guns in public
were do you draw the line, First it starts in University, than what's that stoping it from getting into high schools, Let's put guns in the hands of baby's. Better yet let's put guns in the hands of people who beat there wives girlfriends,
I wish all guns were outlawed. Their only purpose is to kill or maim. When the Bill of Rights were written, they had their need. That was a different era. This is a new era and not a place for guns. We have police and military for that.
it's a damn unloaded handgun...
From my experience of Plymouth State its a bunch of tree hugging hippies. Those comments dont surprise me at all, it just goes to show you have numb people can be.

There was a damn good amount though.
None of them know how to spell, either.
not all of them are ignorant, a few are supporting facts and reason.
also is this legal, is the collage truly public property or is it like private property?
Plymouth State is spread all through the town of Plymouth, the streets are all part of the Plymouth town roads.

QFT
There are some good ole boys that go there too Class of 09' here
I work for a Univeristy and its totally illlegal for anyone besides the cops to carry firearms... Even though it says I have the right to transport my guns to and from my place of business? But maybe if more kids were armed at school the 2007 massacre at Virgina Tech may have been prevented. Its not so easy to kill 33 ppl if there shooting back at you.. Just sayin

Honestly I wouldn't want some of the wingnut liberal professors that I had around guns.
Some of them were downright frothing at the mouth dangerous. Think Bill Ayers /Bernadine Dorn types of violent radicals beyond their prime.
Wouldn't worry so much about the students though

And another shooting at VaTech. Officer and a suicide. Some day a legally armed student/ citizen is gonna stop one of these shootings/ assaults. Someday...

Here in NH the only place by state law that you cannot carry is inside a courtroom. It might be university policy but it is not law. They can ask you to leave if it's on their private property and have you arrested for trespassing if you refuse to but there is no law against carrying on campus.

VT has a large Corps of Cadets. One of them with a CCW could have saved so many lives.
