It's the same for me a lot of times. Someone in the family will say "Why didn't you do something?" and if I do, they'll say "You made things worse. You should have stayed out of it."

What's wrong with people?! Just as we start to settle down emotionally, more monkey wrenches get thrown our way 
And then no good deed goes unpunished... Especially by those who were the recipient(s) of said good deeds.
Just more trials to make us stronger for times to come!
