I looked online n saw tickets were $12.00 each, $1.00 off coupons on the site....me n the old man get there n the dude says $14.00 each, he says "What the crap? I saw they were $12 each, dude asked 'where'd you see that?' Dad said my son saw it online, then he said what about a Veteran? Dude said $7 bucks, by then I was whippin out my Mil ID, $7 bucks for me too...sheesh....what a crock!! $14 each?? Someone lost their mind!

On a good note, I saw Mark out there n introduced myself n talked to him some. He's a good dude! and he's close to me here in Moore!! Heck yeah!! I kept lookin for Dans knee replaced hobblin ass creepin around there but I never saw him. Which was good cause my dad talked to enough people out there on his own....without comin across an old busted up knees replaced fella out there....lol

No much "junk" out there...as in stuffed animals n such, but nothin we couldnt live without either. I saw a BUNCH of AR's out there that I had to laugh attem tho....I mean you see one overpriced "Colt, DPMS, Bushcrapter, who the heck ever lowered AR" out there, you've seen a hundred! Heck, I shoulda had my 68 out there for sale with a $3k price tag on it!! I coulda made $$$ lol.. ..I only saw one guy sellin custom uppers...I forget who it was but he had 68SPC II chambered uppers n I forget what else. There were alot of cars in the parkin lot....but I think most then peeps were at the circus or somethin, I donno. I know the Mossberg 500 pump action I was carrying and the Ruger 243 n 300 rounds of brass n dies he had for it, that we were carryin around all afternoon....came home with us at the end of the day.

holyshit batman, $14 is about $10 too much for gunshows;

people that host the shows keep raising the admission fees won't have to worry about the politicians closing them down

seems like i heard that the fair board has imposed a "use tax" or somesuch crap like that.
that might explain the higher door price on one hand.
on the other hand the promoter could, and damn well should absorb that.
gougers gonna gouge, and now that they got a nice fence with controlled access, paid admittance (parking) just to get in the grounds is a possibility.
a local gun dealer's tired of the whole thing, and is trying to break the stranglehold the 4 promoters have on okc gunshows.
his inaugural show is May 12-13 in Norman at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds, then June 2-3rd at the Expo Center in Shawnee.
$6 shows and promises guns and knifes only.
and a retired mavy cpo is putting one on (called Badshot) at the Grady County Fairgrounds in Chickashsa on june 23&24th.
it doesn't matter where the fault lies (the fair board, the city, the environment, etc) the okc promoters are just going crazy, and somethings gotta give,

$12, $14 whatever is too much. How can the motorcycle swap meet only charge $5 if its so damn expensive for the gunshow promoters? Insurance? What?

$6 would be my limit. $3 or $4 sounds about right though. And if they start charging parking on top of that? Nope, I'm out.

Sounds like a venue change is in order.

Can't we just put a 15' border fence around OKC and Tulsa? That would help too

Then we could have our own events and the city slickers couldn't ruin it

Then we'd have to have Kurt Russell making another movie. ESCAPE FROM OKLAHOMA CITY!
