I am looking for a place to shoot suppressed, relativly alone and with no ear pro if I want!!!!!

I live in Northern VA(Fairfax). I have plenty of ranges around me, heck, I am a range officer at the NRA range. But all the ranges here are short, typically indoors, and packed with people. I have some fantastically suppressed firearms, but don't get to enjoy them as I would like to and have only heard a couple shots from a couple of them without ear pro to really hear what they sound like.
I am looking for something within maybe a 2 hour drive of Fairfax(will go further if talked into it).
It has to be VA because there are SBRs and I have not got off my lazy butt to fill out the paperwork to cross state lines with them.
Private land would probably be the most ideal. I'll bring food and stuff and you can shoot my guns too.
Or if people know of either an outdoor public range that is usually empty in your experience, or private if you can get me and friends in.
If your personal land, things to ease your mind:
I am an NRA Range Officer (I have worked there a few months and am going through official RSO certification this weekend)
I have very positive feedback and am a well known ARFCOMer and other well known ARFCOMMers such as DK-Prof, NovaGator and others would probably attest to my character if asked.
I would clean everything up, collect my empties and all trash and targets. I would get your approval of the cleanup before leaving to make sure I left your land as you had it and to your liking.
If you require some additional payment other than food and ammo, we can probably work something out.
This trip would have to be planned out for sometime in June or July or even August. I don't have a date in mind. I am just trying to find a place to go first and work out details later.
Requirements:
I want to be able to shoot 200 yards minimum.
I want to shoot at things! Like a bowling pin, or 2 liter bottles of soda. I'm tired of shooting paper and only paper.
I want to be able to shoot unsuppressed things as well. My M1A is suppressible, but it would be nice to not have to shoot only suppressed things.
I would like to bring up to 4 friends, well, three friends and maybe my wife if she wants to come. (if you need to limit this, we can talk)
I would like to spend most of the day there.
I don't want a bunch of other people there shooting non-suppressed. Just our group where we can easily say, hey hold up, lets all listen to this.
Possible desires
Might be nice to camp there over night, like a Friday or a Saturday before or after shooting.
Would be nice to have a BBQ grill and enjoy a day of shooting and grilling some meat.
Example of guns I would bring:
300 Blackout
300 whisper
5.56
9mm
.308
7.62 nagant
9mm
22lr

You can shoot with me. I've got places in Culpeper and Orange. The fields are just cut so you can shoot a couple hundred yards. I'd love to compare my Tirant 45 with your cans. Besides it's been a while.....I bought a 9mm High Point carbine from ya years ago.

I just got back from my buddys camp in NY on saturday, it was great to shoot stuff out at the farm that wasnt paper.

I was going to tell you about the public range west of Staunton, but it isn't 200 yards and other people shoot there too.
Your requirements seem pretty high for someone who just says hey I don't know you but let me shoot on your land.

Yep. I know my requirements are high and a stretch. But I figured what the heck. Asking can't hurt. Worst I can get is told no or find something not quite what I want but similar. I get nothing if I don't ask.

Cove is best bet, go on a weekday if you dont want a crowd, we also shoot our Class 3 toys up there

If you are ever a little north of Charleston WV, look me up! Between my grandfather, dad, and myself we half 500+ acres with flat fields that range about 500+ yards long (at least) in the middle of the no where. I am talking not one stop light in my county. I just don't have a suppressor yet.

Ok. that's it. Charelston WV would be bloody perfect. One of the friends I want to/he wants to go shooting has a house there. so that would be perfect.
I just printed out a bunch of the damn ATF form 5320.20s and will fill them out this weekend if I can. Hopefully they take less time than form 1s. Only good for up to a year.
But it will be relativly little pain for teh reward of saying yes to the several "hey come to WV to shoot" invites I get every summer.4/20/2012 1:24:05 PM

Usually when I post "Have Glock 18C, Will Travel", I get plenty of offers to come shoot.
Over the years, I have met many good responsible, folks based on knowing their collections beforehand.

I don't have record of any of my replies getting to you. The carbine I bought from you turned a lady into awesome shooting gun lass. We can shoot out to 800yds perhaps a little more. Maybe I can my M2 buddy to come back.
