Posting my match video from this weekends IDPA match AT Roanoke Rifle and Revolver club.. if your local come out and shoot. We shoot IDPA 2nd Saturdays and USPSA 4th Saturdays
I shoot USPSA and I can't say I understand the game of IDPA at all. What determines how many shots you put on target? Seems very arbitrary. Looked like fun though.
If I may make a suggestion (and it's something I'm still working on). Do your reloads up in front of your face instead of down below your sight line. When you reload, bring the gun straight back towards your face so you can watch the mag go into the well, then push straight back out to target. Faster engagements that way.
kcobean.. the stage brief will always specify the required rounds per target, as in uspsa .. it will vary more because of the stage design restrictions one of the stage from that match were six per one was 3 per etc.
and yes i plan on loading up higher and do so in pratice but once the buzzer goes i tend to index my elbow on my ribs haha
