Hotels near University of Richmond
I am thinking I may end up at the University of Richmond for 2 days. What hotels are near there and would they be close enough and in a safe enough area that I could walk and avoid a car rental?
Nothing within walking distance at all that I can think of. Closest hotels will be on Glenside Dr near Broad St. (about 2 miles from campus) U of R is tucked away in the middle of an upper class residential district.
Just don't walk in any neighborhoods that have names that end in 'court' and you will be fine.
The poster above is right about the hotels though. You are looking at an hour long walk from the nearest hotel.
There is a nice Hampton Inn on Glenside & Broad, a few miles from the school.
