Going to be in Reno end of the month (update with details)

SO Im stuck going to this warranty certification school for work. I paint cars. They fly me to Reno, Pay for food and hotel, and I have to go to school for three days.

I believe Ill be flying in on the 26th and leaving the 29th.


So what can I do there for three days? I think I am being shuttled back and forth so Ill be stuck in a hotel somewhere after school is out unless I take cabs.


Also whats the deal with carry options? I don't leave my state unless I have to but I want to at least bring a little keltec or something since Im being forced out. I don't have CCW . Anyone know the penalty for it if caught concealing without permit? If open carry is an option Ill likely do that if it is acceptable in Reno.

Ill post the hotel deatils in a few days when I know. Maybe someone can take me to a range to shoot some stuff and some beers after or something. Ill buy the beers.

Keep us posted with the details! If I'm free I'd go for a range day... I don't have much in the way of exotic guns to shoot but I'm always down for a little range time.

As for your carry options nevada is an open carry state. One of the major considerations will be where you are staying/attending classes.

It is misdemeanor, but don't get caught w unlicensed ccw. open carry is ok. It's a toss up on whether the cop will actually bust your balls about it. Most are cool, it's just the one dickhead that will ruin it. Let us know your accommodations, since it would be my pleasure to meet and talk forex and other shit with you. Reno REALLY isn't a bad enough town to need to carry, just roll with one of us from the HTF and we'll carry for you .

Per NRS 202.350, you are incorrect. The first offense is a gross misdemeanor.

(1) Explosive substance, other than ammunition or any components thereof;

(1) For the first offense, of a gross misdemeanor.

Yes you should. There is a structure, which you are missing. It also lists which one that applies to. Section b applies, not a.

okay Im coming in sunday the 26th at around noon and being shuttled to the Peppermill resort/casino. So after I get checked in I am free to do whatever on sunday and after class on monday and tuesday I am probably free as well. My phone doesn't work out of state so Ill be opperating on a phonecard and payphones or the hotel phone.

If anyone wants to have a few beers or something or go shooting pm my your number and Ill call you once I get to the hotel and settled in.
