What kind of job can you have were you live 6 months in NEVADA AND 6 months in NORTH DAKOTA ?
At 52 ( career in manufacturing management ) I am getting tried of the winters ( Thankgiving to April ) in North Dakota. I need some suggestions on a career change were I can work from April to Thanksgiving in ND and Thanksgiving to April in Nevada. Any ideas ? Thanks. Marty

Yep oil is were it is at in ND. PROBLEM....... You cannot find a place to live at any price in western NORTH DAKOTA. Plus at age 52 it is hard to break into a oilfield job with manufacturing management expeince. any ideas what oil related job would work for me ? marty

The possibilities are pretty wide. There is so much ancillary support aside from the actual drilling and pumping. I'd just figure out what companies have contracts up there and peruse their open positions listings.
Or go to the ND hometown and maybe someone there can hook you up.
Travel nursing. You're never too old to go back to school.

Also the tooling that is required is quite extensive. Both new and repairing some items. There should be some supply or tooling places up there as well.
