the four scumbags involved in killing officer Trevor Nettleton in his garage? The trial was originally scheduled for Feb 2010, then it was inexplicably rescheduled for Feb 2011. Then I never heard another word. Anyone know?

This is bullshit...

Last time I looked up any info about it was a month or so ago and the article was from a few months ago. Said the trial was coming in January. Maybe the scumbags waived their right to a speedy trial. Doesn't matter if they get the death penalty anyway. Nevada has only executed 12 people since 1976, and no one since 2006.

For these Defendants, the Clark County District Court docket shows all of the usual pre-trial motions and procedures (law and order): hearings, Motion to Compel, Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus, Notice of Witnesses / Expert Witnesses, Stipulations, Orders, Motion in Limine, etc.

As of today, the status of these Defendants is:

Prentice Marshall: Criminal trial has been calendared for February 1, 2012.

Saul Williams: Criminal trial has been calendared for February 6, 2012

Scott Quadrae: Criminal trial has been calendared for February 6, 2012

Addrian Pena: Criminal trial has been calendared for February 6, 2012

Michael Ferguson: On 09-12-2011 he plead guilty pursuant to a plea barging agreement. Sentencing is scheduled for 11-14-2011.

Emmit Ferguson: On 09-12-2011 he plead guilty pursuant to a plea barging agreement. Sentencing is scheduled for 11-14-2011.

Given the complexity of this case, I believe that Clark County District Attorney David Roger’s office is doing an excellent and outstanding job in prosecuting these Defendants. These types of criminal prosecutions are time consuming and legally difficult. And the Clark County Public Defenders’ Office is performing an effective criminal defense.

Please be patient! These Defendants are going to a criminal trial, so we will have to see what happens.
