Good places to fish around Denver
So Im thinking about getting back into fishing again... mainly just cause its just a nice relaxing way to spend and afternoon and I need another hobbie which will put some food on my plate! Are there any good lakes for fishing around the denver metro area? I dont like trout at all... fun to catch but I wont eat the damn things. I'd love to find a place that's predominately Crappie and Large/Small mouth bass... those ones are some good eating! I live in lakewood and one thing Ive always wondered is if theres any fish in all these lakes around the kipling between alameda and jewell of on jewel between kipling and wadsworth.

Don't know about lakewood, but Aurora Reservoir is great for crappie, bass, and walleye. Quincy Reservoir is great for the fish you're looking for as well.
I ride my bike around all those lakes since I live right off Kipling. See people fishing all the time, how successful they are I don't know?
