So does this mean the Western Slope is about to experience another oil boom? I've got a house there that I want to sell when things liven up economically.

Who knows? With the politicians constant changing of the rules and regs, it's no wonder the companies don't want to invest more, and leave for states with less bureaucracy.

If the past is any indication, I guess it's safe to assume they'll be more booms/busts.
