Paul Bunyan Range.
Any AR15.com members there?
I just rejoined there after about 12 years.
I can't keep spending 4.50 a gallon on Diesel driving 40 miles out in the woods.
Hope to see some of you guys out there.
I was going to join there, but went with Upper Nisqually as they have a 550 yard range that members can use almost all the time. I liked how much closer Paul Bunyan is, but I really enjoy distance shooting, so I went with Nisqually.
I have not heard anything bad about Nisqually.
I went PB as they are a mile from me house.
I belong to Nisqually, but I shoot steel matches and USPSA at Paul Bunyan.
I'm still working at getting practical rifle started at Nisqually...I have received approval for a test run match following an orientation, but I have to get a range date. April was really full, so we are looking at May now.. The range officer I have been talking with seems very reasonable, and sensible about safety, and running matches. I'm pleased that they don't appear to be frightened of "black rifles".
I was a member of Paul Bunyan back when I was on their Junior Shooting Team. I was thinking about re-joining as well, but TSC is just a hair closer to me and shooting quite a bit of trap/skeet it just made sence to go TSC. My neighbor just joined PB, so you never know - might see you out there.
I've been considering joining up. I'm in the Bonney Lake area, and I've been looking for a range. Trying to decide between black diamond, paul bunyan, our upper nisqually. I'm kind of leaning towards paul bunyan just because of its proximity, but their website is somewhat sparse on details.
Paul Bunyan is a decent looking facility. When I went there, they had a range that was 200 or 300 yards. They said that although they have a 600 yard range, they rarely use it because they have to close down all the other ranges so they can shoot that far. The facility looked clean, and well maintained, with adequate parking though.
