I will be going to represent the "anyone but Romney" position. I still haven't decided which of the other candidates to vote for though.
I'll be there supporting arfcom's most AND least favorite candidate...

It's OK..
Not everyone can be right every time..... :D
As with every election, there's no perfect candidate.
I'm a libertarian constitutionalist, so Ron Paul is right up my alley.
His record proves it.
Problem is, congress sucks.... even with Paul as president.... not much can be done..........
I'm not voting for Ron Paul because I agree with everything that he believes, but I will be voting for him because the things that I dissagree with simply do not matter if I am not free.
I feel like I might be walking into a trap.

The Washington State caucus system is fail. I went to the website, it told me I had to type in my precinct name. Thing is, since the ballot-by-mail system was instituted local precincts kinda went extinct. Tried to find what my precinct is, but all I get is a phone number for the county election office, and it's been busy all morning.
Seems to me I should be able to type in my address and the caucus to which that address is aligned should have just popped right up. Instead they make it a run around.
This state is totally f******.
ETA - I found out my precinct #, went and entered it in the caucus locater, and it still comes back with an error message. Luckily I found out where the local caucuses are from a neighbor.
I can't make them

. But I'm going on record saying "RON PAUL 2012!!" I wish I could've seen him in Seattle yesterday.

My wife and I just got back from our caucus here in the Snoqualmie Valley. I'm happy to report our precinct was unanimous for Ron Paul.
My wife, myself and our PCO are also headed to Tumwater at the end of March as delegates.
RON PAUL 2012 - STOP THE MADNESS!

RON PAUL 2012 - STOP THE MADNESS!
The downtown Seattle King Co caucuses were filled with Romney and Paul supporters mostly. Only a handful of us went for either Santorum or Newt. I went with Santorum on the basis that he opposed bailouts, opposed obamacare/romneycare, he's pro free-market, and he wouldn't ban guns if he had the opportunity.
I almost didn't make an effort to be a delegate. But when I asked the group how they answered question 17 (re: 2nd amendment) the PCO said he thinks we need stricter guns laws. I let him know his opinion was outrageous and then signed up to be the 2nd delegate. So I'm in too.
I was also the only one there wearing a shirt that said, "I was anti-Obama before it was cool!"

Good going!
I attended today in Spokane Co. I was for Newt. Only nine people showed up from my precinct although there was a good showing from other precincts. Our PCO was a no show. We ended up with four Newt, four Paul sending one delegate for each to county. The other fellow was for Romney.
Good experience over all and there was an "Anybody but Obama" consensus commitment in our small group.
Oh yeah..... FBO!
Weird how no one I talked to or listened to were supporting Romney, yet somehow Romney "won" the WA caucuses.
In other words, caucuses are a complete waste of time for grass roots folks.

Ditto.
Maine had the same problem, voter fraud FROM the republican party... basically misreporting what the caucuses reported, in favor of romney....
Video
There's an old adage...
'Just because I think someone is out to get me, doesn't mean they're not'...
We are advised to vote, and to change the system from within..
But I ask you, what happens when the lawful, peaceful way of change (voting) is corrupted to the point that the process is ineffective?
When will the next Boston massacre occur?

I agree. I'm for my man Dr. Paul. But I have a nasty gut feeling the fix is already in. Do they still support a write in slot on the ballot?
You can loosen the tin foil a bit. The Romney supporters were everywhere at the one I attended, but they tended to be more subtle about it. The Paul supporters were fewer but significantly more outspoken.
ETA: At our table the votes actually lined up very closely to the final results so the outcome did not surprise me a all.

Yeah...we'll just see
At our precinct, Romney had the most support but there was a very good show of support for Ron Paul.

This is to show you how stupid people are... The caucuses are NOT to elect any canadate... They are to elect deligates to go to the conventions... Mutherfucking news media

Well, there you go. Western WA sticking it to the rest of the state ...... again ..
I went to my first caucus yesterday. It was an interesting process. There were six voters who showed up from my precinct and we selected four delegates. This was the first caucus for all of us. We all discussed the candidates, who we supported, and why. We then voted on delegates who will attend the county convention. I enjoyed the process and look forward to seeing what the county convention is all about. Anyone who cares about politics or wants to learn about this process should attend these functions. It seemed to me that involvement at this level makes a difference. But then I'm largely ignorant to the process at this point, hopefully that will change.
My feeling is that we are at a point in history where politics are having a greater effect on our lives and personal freedoms. If I spent as much time learning about the issues and how to support candidates that share my ideas as I'd do hunting for good deals on ammo, magazines, and weapons I might be in a position to do some good politically. At least I could speak intelligently to folks that might listen. And to those who harbor suspicions that the election process is crooked, perhaps we should try to understand it, observe and participate, and report any irregular activities. This is done at the LOCAL LEVEL.

Anyone who was at the caucuses in South King County will attest to the insanely high ratio of RP/non-RP supporters. The numbers for the state are one thing, the numbers for king county... Let's just say, I have a hard time believing them.

Welcome to 2004.
The moonbats know a shitty R will make obammy a shoe-in.
RINO romney is the worst R we have- best scenario for obammy. Once they sank Cain it was all but over.

Agreed there. I was all-in for Cain. It was pretty sickening how they sank him, and I was also a bit disappointed that he didn't weather the storm. All he had to do was say "None of your damn business" to the majority of the accusations.
Right now I'm a delegate for Ron Paul as a protest vote. He's not my absolute favorite, but he's the one I dislike the least. I think any Paul supporter with a rational mind knows he wont win, but we don't want to make this primary an easy one for Romney.
Plus, I'd like to see more of Rand Paul in the future.

Ann Coulter on Cain...
The left is trying to destroy Cain with a miasma of hazy accusations
leveled by three troubled women. Considered individually, the
accusations are utterly unbelievable. They are even less credible taken
together. This is how liberals destroy a man, out of nothing.
Remember? Only two women were willing to give their names. And as soon
as they did, we discovered that they were highly suspicious accusers
with nothing more than their personal honor to support the allegations.
Only one of the two would even say what Cain allegedly did.
The first one was Sharon Bialek, who claimed that Cain grabbed her crotch in a car.
Then we found out Bialek was in constant financial trouble, had been
involved in a paternity lawsuit, was known as a "gold digger," had a
string of debts and had twice filed for personal bankruptcy. Also, she
admitted she knew Obama's dirty tricks specialist, David Axelrod, from
living in the same building with him.
Her personal history is relevant because she produced no evidence. We
had to take her word. (Which was not helped by seeing her standing with
Gloria Allred.)
The second one, Karen Kraushaar, made unspecified allegations of a
"hostile environment" when she was working for Cain, but refuses to say
what those allegations were. This despite the fact that the National
Restaurant Association waived her confidentiality agreement, thus
allowing her to go public.
And now we have Ginger White stepping forward to claim that she had a
13-year affair with Cain. Cain admits he was friends with White, but he
categorically, adamantly denies having an affair with her.
White has the whole combo-platter of questionable accuser attributes:
She's another financially troubled, twice-divorced, unemployed single
mother, who has claimed sexual harassment in the past, declared
bankruptcy once, was accused of stalking and had a libel judgment
entered against her just this year. So far in 2011, she's had nine liens
put on her property.
But we're supposed to ignore all of that because she's the third woman
of questionable character to make an implausible allegation. Liberals
say there's a pattern, but the only pattern is of their making
far-fetched accusations of a sexual nature against Cain.
White's proof that she had a 13-year affair is that she has two of
Cain's books signed by him –– one with the incriminating inscription,
"Friends are forever! Everything else is a bonus," and the other, "Miss
G, you have already made a 'big difference!' Stay focused as you pursue
your next destination." (I know –– filthy!)
If that's proof of an affair, I've had thousands of them without even realizing it.
I never saw a shred of anything they piled together into their smoldering pile of nothing.
And down went the best chance against obammy.
Voters turned away from caucus sites....Rather than "first come first served" The County GOP leaders were handpicking people throughout the line to come in and participate.

When we ran out of space at ours, a voice vote was called to suspend the procedures until enough additional support was called in to make sure everyone was in the room. You can take that however you like.
ETA: It was obvious that the organizers were totally unprepared for the level of turnout as it was really chaotic in there. For example, the hotel ran out of tables and chairs, instructions getting screamed, confusion as to where to go, etc. I'd say at least about 150 people were forced to stand or improvise something. I had to use a plate as a writing surface.

Were you there? You signed your name on an official tally sheet and indicated your candidate preference.
The fraud allegation is unsupported.

Either caucuses outside the Seattle area had
NO Ron Paul supporters, or I'm inclined to call BS on the numbers...
Edit: in regards to king county only.

I'm at the 36th legislative district republican caucus right now. Posting from my iPhone. Ron Paul delegates just ousted the GOP chair and took over the caucus. Delegates for Paul HEAVILY outnumber delegates for the other three candidates, combined.
This is getting chaotic, and interesting.
We just spent an hour debating whether delegates should each get 30 seconds to introduce themselves to the caucus and say who they support.

Ron Paul 2012!
I'm an RP delegate.
They are still counting the first round of ballots, this is taking forever.
Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile
All 21 delegates elected at the caucus were Ron Paul supporters.
Now they are counting ballots for alternate delegates.
ETA: Still taking forever, a LOT of people already left.
ETA2: All 21 alternate delegates are also Ron Paul supporters.
Wow.

I'm going to laugh my ass off if the "win" in WA for Romney disintegrates at the actual convention.

I don't usually gravitate towards the conspiracy theory angle, but I'll be damned if the numbers for Romney weren't fudged––this only re-enforces my belief. I don't know about other candidates, but we were all directed to report the vote count for each precinct. I think we will see some light shed on it too.
There were definitely some games being played. After the GOP chair was ousted the lady with all the ballots disappeared. I guess the Paul supporters didn't plan on that so they improvised the ballots but it all had to be counted by hand. It took forever, even with 20-30 people helping count them. I checked in at 8:45 and didn't get out of there until after 5pm when they told us the results of the second ballot.
I was listed on the 'unity' slate which was basically an alliance between the Romney, Gingrich, and Santorum supporters promising to support whoever wins the GOP nomination. Despite being on the losing ticket I still had a lot of fun. I was wearing my tshirt with an AK47 on it that says, "Am I the only person on the planet that didn't get guns from the ATF?" A lady walked up to me saying she loved the shirt and asked me to pose in a picture with Justice Sanders.
