I think this is a case of competing attention whores. Some good may come of it though. Westboro baptist church only has like 60 members total, and most are from the same family. If the media would quit giving them ait time maybe they would lay off. I am very surprised that someone has not bumped off the members of that church considering the way in which they conduct themselves. ( I do not advocate doing harm to anyone) .

I am a Christian. I am even against sanctifying homosexual behavior. But those guys, protesting a miltary funeral makes me want to kick some ass.

IIRC - The whole family are lawyers - touch them and they sue for 1st Ammendment violations. That is how they make their money.
