Have some old motor/car parts/scrap iron I collected to use as a target one day. Anyone know of a place to sell them/recycle them at?

Where are you at, what type of material (aluminum, steel, cast iron), 100lbs or a few tons?

Theres a place in Kent if your near there, called Binford recycling. Yeah, like the Tool Time sponsors :) I have taken a half ton of copper there and gotten a check. They take large ammounts of stuff if it's worth something.

Thanks, I'll check out Binford

Most of what I have is steel/iron...old car parts such as an old car door, brake drums, push bumper, some old weight set pieces. Mostly crap really, originally tossed out for scrap might end up being scrap again. Weight wise, probably 200 pounds or so. A couple bucks is better than nothing.
