How much would you pay for a three to five shot .45 ACP semi-auto that fits in the palm of your hand?

I'm just guessing this is Para's what's it's name the bulky little 45 ACP semi? The Para-Hog I think?

I've shot a few rounds at the range, and it felt surprisingly well balanced.

I went with a Kimber though.

Definitely no more than $500; that PF9 I got from you is about the best deal you get for a pocket gun. If they followed that up with a .45 version I'd love it, especially in that price range.

At some point too small is too small. Recoil increases, reliabilty and capacity decreases.

You have just described a 1911. Officers model, but still a 1911.

At almost 7 inches long with almost 4 inches of barrel, a 36 will not fit in the palm of the average hand.

And it has a wierd grip angle.

Were you ever laughed at during intimate times in highschool?

I have experience shooting a friend's Kimber Utra Micro Tiny Small Carry. Its got way too much muzzle flip and jams every 2 or 3 rounds. There are certain laws of physics that must be respected

No. I barely attended high school. To busy partying and banging beaver. Got a GED before my class graduated. If you were psychologically/physically abused in high school and need someone to talk to, let's take this to IM. You may feel the need to publicly share now but it could resurface later and cause you problems in the future. I'm here for you man.

Years of therapy does not qualify you to counsel people, and if it did, coming on to your clients like that is unethical.

Only dinky 45's I've diddled were the AMT Backup and the Para P-10. Barrel go wingwing, bullet go flingding. No likey me.

Hmm, I've had great results with my RCP, I think that's the smallest 1911 they make, (I'd know for sure if my Bing wasn't fubar...'cause I'm too lazy to google).

This is where my thoughts went.

I can't imagine a .45 in something close to the size of an LCP.(or even marginally larger).

The recoil from a barrel that short would be insane.

But the muzzle blast would register on the Richter scale. Do they come with sunglasses?

I've got a Kahr PM 45 and it fits a niche. 5+1 of 45 auto in a small package. I purposely put 250 rounds though it when I first got it - and it was flawless.

It's not quite a pocket gun due to the weight, but it conceals very well in a holster.

Never had a failure to function as long as I run four rounds in the mag with one in the chamber. If I take out the mag and top it off, it will fail to cycle on the first shot about 1/2 the time.

Really, if they did a gen 2 design refinement, it would be pretty darn good.

I was AMT's biggest fan for years. But, when they revamped the Backup series, especially the 45, they lost me. I hadda de-friend them on Facebook.....

That's about the size I'm thinking of....these other guys seem to have too much –––––––––– in the palms of their hands.

A. 1911s
B. time
C. imagination
D. (Rem would say 'no'.)
