I got to thinking about what if had to defend myself from a carjacker or what not. My pistol is pinned between me and the seat. I don't want to remove my pistol everytime I get in and out of the vehicle. Leaving one in there all the time is a no. So what about mounting a fixed blade in the vehicle. Is this legal and would length come into play at all? Any problems with it? Thanks guys

only time you'll get jammed up with a knife is if you use it in an offensive way or the blade of which is exposed in an
automatic way by switch, push-button, spring mechanism

So then if someone is trying to attack me while I'm in my car and I use it to defend myself "most" likely I would be ok?

depends. you still need to prove your life was in fear of death or serious bodily injury. even with castle doctrine

don't bring a knife to a gun fight!
if the perp has a gun while jacking you and you draw a knife I have a feeling you will loose that one
if he has nothing and you stick him your screwed

Thanks. That's why I put quotations around most. Trust me I would never use a weapon unless I believed 100% I life was in danger.
