Hi,

I am looking for a good deal on ammo in the Philadelphia area. Reloads are ok with me as long as they don't explode. I am familiar with Bob's Better Bullets, but they don't reload rifle ammo. I need some .223.

Any recomendations?

Here you go: TANNER'S

Let me know how the ammo prices are (here for everyone or IM me) if you go there. I pass by the area about once a month, but I'm usually pressed on time and haven't gone out of my way to check them out. I've heard good things about their shop, though.

Please don't use reloads, unless you have reloaded them yourself.

Depending on your timing Tanner's has good prices on ammo. About what you would pay online, w/o the shipping costs. I usually buy 9mm, .223 and .308 from him in bulk when I'm there. Don't know about the pricing on other calibers. He often has a pallet or two in the show room that is sale priced.

I like how Tanner's website "directions" link takes you to Expedia.com. I guess if you're going to fly to Pennsylvania on vacation it might make sense to use that website, but otherwise ...
