I ordered a sig sp2022 pro and it just arrived at my local ffl in philly. I wanna go pick it up asap but im concerned i could temporarily be denied. A few months back i got a traffic ticket while driving in new jersey. Basically i never paid the entire traffic ticket fine and what jersey does to get people to'pay is to send out a warrant for arrest. Its meant to be done to embarrass you scare you to always pay your fines in the future. Will i be denied a handgun sale because of this traffic ticket warrant. I am going to go pay it asap so lets not go there and just stick with the question

Thanks a ton guys!!!!

It probably won't hit on PICS but if you have any dealings in NJ in the future it will cause alot of headaches for you if you have any police contact. Just so you are aware, don't respond to a citation issued in Pa or stop paying on one and there will be a warrant issued for you arrest along with an automatic licesne suspension until its taken care of. Its not just NJ and I"m sure most other states do the same.

If there is an active warrant for your arrest... you may get "stalled" at the gun counter while the local Police are dispatched to arrest you.

Yes it happens.

I never had it happen in my shop... but my buddy that issues LTCF's at the courthouse told me he arrests people regularly when they come in to apply for the carry permit.
