I completely agree, but I am and so Cali is not high on the list of places to go often.

Every now and then the wife and I head over to Temecula for some wine tasting and to buy a case of wine. CA although being a non-firearm friendly state does have some places we like to visit. Not knowing all the "in and outs" of traveling with firearms, we usually travel with an unloaded revolver which is unfortunately locked up with ammo stored in a separate compartment. About 10 years ago a friend was traveling through the state and well, long story short it wasn't a pretty deal for him when all the dust settled over several years of court hearings.

The California Chariot is banned in California. Highest taxes in the nation. Also the highest taxed gas in the nation and gas is already more expensive in California. They also let thousands of prisoners out early each year because they can't afford to keep them locked up. Worst good Samaritan law, you should be afraid to help someone there. Only place I know that a burglar can sue the homeowner of the house he burglarizing and win. Just a shitty... shitty.... shitty place.

I don't even need to mention the clear and blatant disregard for the 2nd amendment and personal freedoms as a whole.
