Have they gotten any better then a couple years ago when it turned into a 'look at my displays' and the flea market crap all over the tables?

The whole $3 per car parking still pisses me off.

They're still the same, but I probably go Saturday if I'm bored.

I might make it up there. Some of those vendors really piss me off. They laugh at what you want for your gun when they are selling $600 Gen 1 glocks and you are asking a reasonable price for your shit. I don't even look at what they have on the tables, the only deals there are what people bring in the door that day. Lets discuss what we are bringing so maybe we can help each other out. I would bring my Norinco 213 and maybe my Glock 30 (not sure if I want to get rid of it yet) Whats everybody else bringing?

Did anybody go today?

Yep went today and it was a total waste of time.
Many of the tables were empty and as usual guys had mostly overpriced junk.
I find it interesting that many times I can literally buy new for what these clowns are asking for old new or even used.
And yeah the $3.00 parking is a joke.
I keep promising myself I will never go back, but as usual I find myself with noting to do so I end up going.
I guess I really have no room to bitch, what is needed is for people like myself to just quit going.

I went. Bought three rifles.

First, a MN M38 in good condition with a VERY nice bore - $120 Given the current price/availability of carbines, this was a GREAT deal, IMO. I know that at least one more went for $110. (also in good condition)

Second, a non-refurb 91/30 that may be a SCW. It certainly hasn't had some very specific updates that a SCW wouldn't and is in a known SN range that many SCW 91/30s fall into. Lastly, it falls into the year range for a SCW. All in all it was a good example of a original condition 91/30 that you do not see every day. That was good enough to make me want to add it to the collection. For that I was willing to pay the negotiated price of $200.

Third, I spotted a gentlemen carrying a M38 with wire hangers. It was trashed something powerful, but had a lot of character and a bore with not a small amount of promise. $65.

There were other good deals, depending on what you were looking for. I did see my fair share of priced items, though. One that stood out was a Kel-Tek P-11 at a "used" price of $325. Heck, I paid "too much" for mine and I still paid less than that, NIB.

I know at least one other member bought three rifles today, too.

I went for about a half hour. Luckliy my boss lives across the street so I get free parking. It sucked as usual. I did see an old guy walk in with an M38. Might be the one you bought. I had more fun eating chili mac at ideal hot dog.

If it had wire sling hangers, that was the guy.

The "trashed" M38 is turning into an interesting piece, especially with some of the comments I'm getting on gunboards.

I went to the show in Lima instead, it's worth the drive. I took 3 guns to sell and a wad of cash, sold all 3 guns, bought a new Glock, had night sights installed on that and my carry Glock, spare mags, holster, ect.. Still came home with more money than I took. That is THE show to go to in NW Ohio, lots of guys that are decent to deal with, a ton of guns with ALOT of carry-in's. I love that they run it every month, lets you know it's popular, and they're making money. Check it out you won't be sorry.

I didn't know Lima was having a show this weekend too. Their shows are always better than Toledos. I will go there instead.

Bought some ammo and a mag but didn't come across any good gun deals when I was there.

Went to both. Turned out that way. Hit up maumee early morning and the ammo dealer that was there last time didn't make it, but knew they were in lima. Some heads came together and car pooled to Lima. Best idea as ammo dealer there and far better show. Less congestion (more spread out), found things I was looking for, and seemed far friendlier. Worth the drive. About 1.25 hours for us.

Did find a good deal with some guy at maumee on some ammo. Seemed to be getting rid of it.

Went to the Lima show and picked up a MAK 90. I didn't plan on buying a gun, it just happened.

Sold my ar at the Maumee show so I am happy. I have tried to tell my buddy who is on the board to not schedule this show on the same weekend as the Lima show or any other show in this area. Seems to me that it leads to less dealers at all shows. Dealer wise it was a pretty disappointing however the last show in Maumee was pretty decent as it was on a different weekend than the Lima show.

Sometimes you can find decent deals at these gunshows if you are looking for something out of the ordinary and happen to stumble accross what you are looking for.
But I was looking for relaoding supplies this year and I couldn't find squat for a decent price.
A guy had a nice medium sized ammo can that he wanted $30.00 for.
I had to laugh as just the day prior I picked up two of the exact same ammo cans at Woodville surplus for $14.00 each.
I offered him $16.00 and he got shitty with me.

One guy at Maumee had .50 cal ammo cans for $10.

Pretty good deal, these days.

If you are looking for Powder, primers or shot, a guy in Wauseon named Roger (can't think of actual company name) is
pretty decent for stuff locally. If you want his contact information, IM me.

If you are looking for jacketed bullets, I like Precision delta
For lead bullets I like, Missouri Bullet Company

You looking for powder, primers, brass or bullets? You will never find powder at the Maumee show as they are not even allowed to bring it into the building. Every once in a while you will find some guys with reloading supplies there but this last show was pretty scarce on true dealers.
