it was on sunday (15/1/12), i was at pearl and ridge heading south and the were low and slow headed north by northeast. There were 2 of them and i could not see if they were loaded out?

Where did they come from? where did they go?
i did ask my friend cotton eye joe and he had no idea

I saw them in Cleveland proper too. It looked like they were heading NE, they were low and man were they loud. I was walking to a restaurant to get brunch, it was about 11am (although I don't know the time for sure). I figure it must have been some kind of training flight for them. I saw three, one first followed shortly by another two.

Not uncommon to see them and other like air craft around here ( Northern Portage Co.). The now Nat. Guard Training base,ie the old Revenna Arsenal. Matter of fact go into the local stores and you would think your in or around a major Army base with all the soldiers in uniform.

Apaches and Blackhawks fly over my house near Granville routinely. Usually heading northeast.

Yup, Roger that.

Been seeing them from the Ravenna Arsenal as well as the Akron-Canton airport, they usually fly straight-arrow North, following SR #91 (SOM Center Road).

I see and hear them ALL THE TIME just north of Sunbury. My shepherd goes nuts when they fly over, so I always have a heads up when they are coming. Ill try to get it on video next time they fly over and post it. They are so low that I can actually see legs out the doors sometimes, but you gotta look fast.....

I don't think that I've ever seen them over my neighborhood before. It was cool to see them go by...

The Ohio Guard doesn't have any Apache's, they were probably Indiana or Michigan Guard acft on their way to the Eastern Aviation training area in PA. They wouldn't have been loaded with live ordnance over a populated area, we're not allowed to do that inside CONUS.

I've never seen Apaches in Columbus, but I have seen Hueys, Cobras, Blackhawks, and Chinooks. They fly in and out of Beightler Armory/Don Scott

Every time I see the blackhawks they're in pairs, every single time but the Apaches that fly over my place are in 3's or 4's...and usually way lower. I've only seen Chinooks two or three times, ever out here. But, like I said they follow the same flightpath. I always see them out my back window, flying northeast.
