I own 50 acres in eastern OH (Jefferson County) that is great for shooting (natural backstops and a 500 yard flat field) and has pretty good deer, turkey, rabbit and squirrel hunting (Grouse are trying to make a comeback). It is about 50/50 flat vs. hillside and about 50/50 open vs. wooded and has 3 streams running through it. I live in central OH and don't get there very often. I also don't have land to shoot or hunt on here.
I'm looking to trade use of my Jefferson Co. land with someone who has some close to where I live in southern Franklin Co. or northern Pickaway Co. We (my 11 year old son and I) don't hunt much, but we like to shoot (close range handgun and long range rifle). If you are interested in working out a trade contact me.

I am VERY familiar with that area. Great hunting. Some of the best deer in the state. Have you considered selling it instead of trading it? What town is the land in? Having a 500 yard FLAT field in that area is really amazing.

Not sure if my wording is right, but I'm not looking to trade the land, just trade some permission to shoot and hunt.

I know that area well. I drive from Northwest Ohio to hunt deer in Bloomingdale(3.5 hour drive one way). Definitely not a day-trip.
