Sorry I haven't been on much lately gents, I've been going through serious medical and financial challenges.
I've mostly been on arfcom when trying to sell off my firearms.

Anyway my friend Rich who many of you know had things stolen from his car, a hummer 3, last night or this morning
in Grandview.

Missing was a large wood crate filled with many loaded magazines. 35 loaded HK G3 MAGS, 15 Loaded
Ar mags, Pmags or various colors and assorted ammo etc.

If you see anyone selling any of this please contact rich if you know him or let me know and ill pass it on.

Thank you!

Rich says if anybody hears anything that leads to his items being recovered you could keep the ammo, lie 1,500 rounds or something. he just wants his mags back, lol.

OK gents,,, first I agree cut the thief's hands off and stomp the fucker in the ground .. Secondly It sucks to get shit stolen, I know that all to well.. I hope he gets them back..

But why did he have loaded mags in his vehicle? that's kinda of a big NO NO in Ohio.... and don't give me the there was no gun in the car stuff. Hey, we all know that people have done it,,, law abiding CHL holders going to the range with 10 loaded AR mags in the bag,,,, it's not legal... Don't do it.. we are supposed to be setting the example... Are we not?

Come on now. Lets not turn this into an "Oh my, you have loaded mags?!" Tisk Tisk. Just keep an eye out for the HK mags. Pretty unique. Ill be visiting local gun shops this week, so Ill keep an eye out.

He have any friends or anyone he knows that knows of his rifles and such, maybe someon wants them for their personal use...

Kind of what I was thinking, but thought maybe there was more to the story.

To bad about the hole thing. But its said to say. But in 99% of these case's nothing is ever recovered. Even if you find a guy selling mags that you think are yours. Its dam hard to prove there 100% yours. Take it from me, we are looking for a safe that was stolen a month ago. Crooks came in passed up EVERYTHING else. They used a chain fall to pull the safe over. Pulling the lag bolts anchored in the concrete threw the bottom of the safe. Then they used a dolly to get it to the basement door. Then used HIS tractor to load it into a pick up truck bed. Then they used balled straw( from his barn) to cover the safe and split. Not a print to be found. They even left there shoe's where the truck was parked. And Yes, his dog was on sight. They drugged him with something in food. Most likely when the cased the place about 30 mins before.

Total loss in the safe was about 70-K ( Guns, Gold, and so on)

Sound like to me those thieves knew exactly what they wanted.

Tell him to be optimistic. I recovered a shotgun stolen from me 6 or so years ago. I even got back the soft case and one of the magazines and the shotty was still in good condition. Thank goodness I had a record of the serial number.

Yes they did. We are about 99% sure who it was. But can't prove anything at this point. They did recover a Gold ring. But the trail on that is long since cold. Also not bashing the LEO that did the investigation. But they all but told him that "Unless someone was to murder someone VERY important with one of the weapons". It's off there radar at this point. Good luck and if you find something that was his. Don't do anything other than call us.

Yea, it was posted. Not by me. But posted by another team member. 98% chance is that you would not see this stuff at a gun show. And if you did it would send off BIG BELLS AND ALARMS.

The gold and coins made up a large part of the $$. At 1600.00 a oz. and Silver coins was a large haul for the thieves.

he had no rifles in the carbat any time that im aware, only his ccw handgunbwhile driving. you can keep loaded mags as long as the long guns they go to arent in the vehicle.

A person should be able to leave their property in their vehicle without it being stolen. I'm guessing he loaded up at a friends house then had to much back pain to carry in thus leaving them in the car overnight.
