hi folks,
moved to vegas 6yrs ago and its time to move back to LA (love vegas, but the wife and i miss the weather, family, and friends)....
upon arrival to vegas, i sold all my goodies (that i had registered as AW's

) so those are pretty much all gone except the one PWA that i sbr'd (that is on that list, but since it was registered as an nfa weapon, i doubt i can revert it back to cali AW configuration even if i take it off the nfa list). so its that and two colt's (M4 LE's...223 and a 9mm).
anyhow, i was wondering if i neuter my colts and the PWA (16"bbl, bullet buddy or button or whatever its called, 10rd mag, etc), can i bring them back to cali with me or is there a ban by name...i forgot all the ban laws and im sure new ones have popped up while i was away.
i appreciate any help,
-v
***eta....i read the flow chart, so i answered my own questions except the PWA issue....i suppose i will call cal DOJ to get the answer..."
The moment you install a 16"+ barrel on the PWA, it is no longer an SBR and should be good to go with you back to CA. You can remove it from the federal registry if you want, but it is not necessary. As long as the PWA is not configured as an SBR it is not legally considered an SBR.
I welcome (back) yet another gun owner to California.

PWA is a no go in California regardless of a BB.

Leaving the state and moving back isn't a problem as long as you didn't remove it from the list. I have no clue about what adding it to the NFA registry does.
