I purchased the gun last month from a dealer in town that bought up a crap ton of evidence room weapons from a PD in the area. I have the original receipt showing that it's all free and clear. When I got it, it was completely trashed. I ordered, and installed a Chinese Jungle stock to replace the combat exchange folder that was on it. Which will be included with the rifle. I also ordered and installed a Romanian blade bayonet, and shortened a Saiga 12 cleaning rod to work with it.
The bore is nice and bright, however there are some small areas of pitting on the carrier group. I'm assuming these came from it's military service days as it's far too dry where I am now to happen. Dated 1960 on the side of the receiver, all matching numbers except for the stock assembly. I gave it a coat of semi flat BBQ paint so that it would match my MAK-90 and look nice on the wall. The bluing is still there under it, and in good shape. It's just very crude compared to most of my guns.
I'm also including 9 stripper clips.
I love this gun, however, I'm starting to enter another gun snob phase and I'm dumping most of my combloc stuff in order to focus on higher quality firearms.
Actually an emergency has literally just come up, I must sell all of my guns immediately to finance an unplanned move.
I paid $300 for the gun, $60 for the stock, and $45 for the bayonet. So I'm selling it at a loss.
Shipping will be $30 for UPS ground with a hard case to any FFL in the lower 48.
