Hey all, Glad you made it here Chris! Just want to let you all know that I've been 'bugging' [;)] Chris here for the past few days regarding the production of a fake suppressor for my OLY 9mm postban project. Chris has been nothing but cordial and helpful in his responses to all of my email inquiries. As we speak my suppressor is in the works and I look forward to posting pictures and a review in the coming weeks. Once again, welcome aboard and I'm sure we'll look forward to more of your excellent designs!

Treetop - received mine on Saturday! Considering Chris had this work of art produced in just under a week including shipping - very impressed. I had ordered the standard suppressor, and had it threaded for the OlyArms 5/8 - 24 TPI .75 diameter barrel. Since I wanted the 'slipover' look, Chris was able to bore down about 4", then proceeded to thread from the opposite end. Well, as expected he has done an excellent job. The faux suppressor slipped over nice and smooth, and the threads were clean and precise. The finish is an even matte black, finished with a high temp paint. Now seeing that this of course is going on a threaded barrel, I need to make it permanent for use on the postban PWA lower. After a quick haul to Lowes, I picked up a tap & drill combo - 6-32 tap, and #36 drill. As well, as required, 1/4" setscrews. I tapped three holes around the suppressor, dimpled the barrel .03" and drove those puppies home. I dropped it off at the welders today for the TIG welds over the setscrew holes, and should have her back by Wednesday. She'll ultimately be refinished in Brownells Alumahyde II - Matte Black. I'll have a total review and photos hopefully by Friday. I'm very pleased with the product and happy to see another AR accessory fabricator so passionate about his work!

OK. Here's my review. Pic link below. Cut and paste in browser to see. Fake suppressor was the M4 style. Came in a well packed small box. Finish was great, and looked well made. Clened it with CLP before mounting to my RRA threaded upper. Finish was into the threads and did not want to thread correctly at first. After a sec of work to thread properly it went on without any difficulty. Removed it to check the threading on both my upper and FS. No problem. Paint in the threads was the problem. Have not been to the range yet, but would imagine that it would have no effect on accuracy. For the price its a great bargain and would no hesitate to buy another.

Okay fellas - I'll be posting a review shortly! The Canon A60 arrived today, and I've already taken a LARGE picture - just learning how to use the cropping software etc! Got the finished product back from the welders this Wed. morning and he did an absolutely wonderful job on the TIG welds. Raced home and refinished with Brownells Alumahyde II - hell, even got the wife to smile at this piece of work! I'll link a review in the AR uppers section shortly - give me about an half hour or so!

I just wanted to say that Chris is very professional and patient. He and I have been swapping e-mails about a custom job and he's always taken the time to answer in full. Way to go! I can't wait to see you work! K

I got one. It's great for the money! I don't have my upper yet, so I don't have pics. Quick shipping, and very reasonable. I am very satisfied.
