Weld my AR lower
Here is the skinny; I have a Colt 6520 lower with a one sided, small pin sear block. The sear block has been removed already, but I want the pin in the side of the receiver removed and the hole welded over and finished flush, and there is a roll pin in the lower receiver itself that I want pulled and that small hole welded flush as well; in addition, there are some milling marks where the sear block used to be that I would like addressed as well. The lower doesn't have to be refinished, but if your shop can refinish the lower in the modern dark Colt color, that would be great.
My lower is Preban and rather valuable because of it, for me in NY, so I'm only looking for reputable shops that have experience and will treat this lower like it was a pre86 machine gun. Having pics of your work would go a long way.
Have you contacted ADCO? That would be my first choice.
