Looking for someone to thread my Mak 90, (it has .608" diameter barrel) to standard ak threads which I believe are 14x1mm LH. If this is possible please let me know. It has been suggested that I get it threaded to 1/2x28 and then get the 14x1mm adapter and tac weld it in place. I am willing to get this done if my first option is not possible. I am open to ideas to solutions to put the PWS fsc47 on my Mak 90, but I really want to get it threaded. thx in advance

If your barrel is .608" (15.44 mm) at the Muzzle then you are in great shape 14mm is only .551" so you've got enough meat there now. I would NOT cut it to 1/2x28 and go thru all that adapter crap. Assuming you have a .311 bore (7.62mm) the larger you keep the thread diameter the better.

I'd do the 14x1 LH (standard AK47 thread). Unfortunately, the guy who did mine has quit the business!
