It is not believed that any magazines or ammunition were stolen with the firearms and no magazines
or ammunition were in the hard or soft cases that were stolen with the firearms. Also stolen from the
vehicle was a Toshiba laptop computer, a digital camera, a Sony head set, a Sprint Air Card, a
Garmin GPS and medication for diabetes.
A similar incident occurred on September 21, 2008, where federally licensed individuals from Carmel,
New York reported a break-in of his vehicle in the parking lot of a restaurant, Bahama Breeze, located
at 320 Goddard Boulevard in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The dealers had been in the King of
Prussia area to be a vendor and sell firearms at the Valley Forge Gun Show over the weekend of
September 19, 2008 – September 21, 2008. At this time, 43 firearms were stolen. At this time, only
one firearm has been recovered.
The Philadelphia Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF),
announced today that ATF is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and
conviction of those responsible for the burglary that occurred on December 21, 2008.
Anyone with information about either incident should contact ATF Special Agent Joseph Mangoni at
(215) 399-6380, 1-800-ATF-GUNS (800-283-4867), or the Upper Merion Police Department at (610)
265-3232; all calls will be kept confidential.

I'm with you, this sounds like an insurance scam to me. Who carries that many NFA firearms in their vehicle and then stops, and leaves them unsecured.

not sure why he would run a scam when he can just sell them (granted it will take longer). Gun show vendors have been targets of theft in the past. If they ATF is ponying up the reward money, they have come to the reasonable conclusion that the victim was not in financial distress or scamming.

I just hope these guys get caught, I know the Carmel, dealer mentioned at the bottom of the post and the guy is going thru alot of BS with investigations and also some of the rifles he had at the show were consignment guns which he had to make good on to the sellers.

These guys watched and scoped out the dealers and hit them when they least excepted it,. they were far enough away from the gun show center and when they stopped for food/bathroom break they were hit

I hope these bastards get caught quick

Something doesn't sound right.....little fishy if you ask me. How come no one saw the people unloading the car they were robbing? It's not as if they were small items that they could have hidden from the view.

Man so this guy was parked at a PUB with all this in his truck? If it is legit I feel for any citizens that are impacted by these firearms stolen. And might add that the owner should have not hung out at a bar with that kind of power in his truck.

When the story broke, it said he stopped for an adult beverage. Now it says he stopped for dinner. Needless to say, if it's legit, he was nothing less than an idiot for stopping for any reason with that stuff in his vehicle. I feel a little uneasy leaving my truck parked in the bad part of town with just a handgun in the glovebox.

I'm sorry, this is just plain stupid & irresponsible. I guard my side by side 20 guage shotgun with my life, and this guy leaves tons of machine guns unguarded in his truck??!! Jesus Christ, that is borderline criminal, in my opinion...

I lived walking distance from that Irish pub there in KOP for a few years. Trust me, no one goes there to eat. That is a place to go get drunk and that's it.

That guy is obviously retarded.
