I have a SA 3rd generation scope mount that should be used for parts only. After being on my rifle for close to 500 rounds, the tab that locks into the the front reciever just above the threaded hole has bent itself. Thats what happens when you have an aluminum mount on a steel reciever. The rest of the parts to the mount are in great shape and nothing wrong at all, so thus im selling it as a parts mount, I would not trust it to hold zero nor will I guarantee it. EDIT: this sale DOES NOT include the stripper clip guide mounting block

Sarge.. Got the mount... Was it on an SAI receiver? Torques down rock solid as the peened lug just happens to match my receiver geometry perfectly. Gonna test fire..tell you how it holds up. If not, I will send off to Mr. Bassett to weld in new bar stock.
