EDIT #3
$80 for the skoda... Does me no good just sitting here.
If it isn't what I say it is, I'll take it back.
Somebody out there is lucky enough to have a big lathe and needs this......
That is one of my gun cleaning towels by the way. That isn't gunk from the tool.
EDIT#2
OK. new terms.
First I'll take it sets how this goes.
Buy the skoda and get the royal free.
If someone says they'll take the royal first it breaks them apart.
EDIT* Ok Let's try cheaper.... I did say make an offer, but let's try this.
$20 for the ROYAL
$100 for the SKODA
OBO
I bought a lathe with an MT2 tailstock, and it came with these MT3 live centers. They do me no good, so I'm looking to unload them to fund other lathe goodies.
The ROYAL needs some attention. It runs a bit tight and has a rough spot in the bearing. Seems to work fine with no noise (had a friend with a larger lathe check them out...tried to sell to him, but his wife would murder...lol). Has a ground down allen screw installed in the rear to to help with release.
These things are about $350 new.... So how about divide that by 10 as a project/as-is piece....
$35 shipped OBO.
May last for years - or it may burn up within a few jobs. Maybe you can fix it (though I couldn't figure out how to easily tear it apart).... this is why it is so cheap.
The SKODA Operates and feels new. It looks like it rolled across a tool bench a few times, but really is like new in fit and feel. Removing the tail cap you see nice off-white grease (just like factory). I'd hazard to say this thing is barely used, but someone didn't care if it got scraped up a bit in a pile of tools.
I found one like this new on amazon for $189.99 (plus shipping). Let's do approximately 30% off that for
$133 shipped OBO.
I'm not trying to get rich here (just help support one of my 2 favorite hobbies). If you can find it for less - show me and if I feel it is a comparable item I'll beat it.
As stated above, they were checked out to be sure they fit the tail stock socket well. There are no gouges or deep scratches that would keep them from holding tight.
I'm always interested in AR-15 type trades, but lately I really only need lower related stuff and lowers themselves. Feel free to toss anything up though - worst I could do is say I'm not interested.

IM or Email is fine
I can do PayPal, Postal MO, Checks (with time to clear).
Bump for reduced price.....
I'll take the skoda mt3. Let me know how payment is to be made.
