This is a 1943 built Remington 03A3. Nice metal finish. RA 5-43 marked barrel with nice rifling & a shiny bore, she passes the bullet test with flying colors. R marked swivels, R marked front sight. Bolt is marked B&S with flaming bomb.
Now the bad stuff, came to me in a trade with a brown plastic stock that has no markings and looks to me like a Drill stock, this stock is ugly but in good shape with no cracks that I can find although the front barrel band does not tighten down the handguard as it should but I believe its the plastic handgard. Also, someone drilled 3 holes in the left side of the receiver ( side scope mount ? ) the holes do not interfere with the bolt action. Other than the stock/handgard ( which may be a USGI Drill stock ) she is all USGI. She is sold as is. I have not fired her and recommend all WWII weapons be inspected by a competent Gunsmith before firing. I am pricing this accordingly @ $350 + shipping to FFL or C&R FFL. It will come out of my C&R Boundbook. Payment by
USPS money order only. FTF possible in Mid Michigan with Mi ID. The only trade I would be interested in would be a Springfield 1911 WWII model or Mil Spec. If we are shipping in a trade and you have no feedback on the EE you will need to ship first.
