Can someone explain cash value versus trade value?
I'm wondering what the difference between cash value and trade value is on a item someone has up for trade. Trade value is claimed to be higher, even though they are putting it up for trade. Why wouldn't my trade offer to them be worth more also?
I feel if someone is requesting an item for trade their item should have a lower value, closer or less then claimed cash value. I'm just confused by this whole value thing! Am I the only one who feels this way?
A lot of people will list a higher trade than cash value as when people make trade offers they tend to want retail values for their items while only offering wholesale value on the other parties item.
Cash is king in this instance.
