Primary Arms Microdot on a PA Quick Release Base Question

I bought this setup back in January and have spent some time with it now and I am finding that the base shoots itself loose pretty quickly. Usually after 50 rounds it slides on the rail. It starts locked down about as tight as reasonable possible. I am considering using red Loctite on the adjustment nut. Is this a bad idea?
I noticed that it was not keeping zero and thought it maybe was the sight itself but then I noticed that the base was actually loose. I tightened it, re-zeroed but it did not last. Done this a few times now so I am suspicious of the lock nut.
