How long would you wait for your order?

I recently placed an order with one of our members in the industry section. it was a rather large order-300 bucks of misc litems that were all in stock. this was ordered on the 21st of febuary. The same night i ordered from 2 other vendors. none the less these venders have already sent out information regaurding tracking info and 1 vender had already gotten my stuff to me (across the counrty btw).
I got a email today after emailing them. and all i got was it is still processing. How long does it take to gather your in stock items and put them in a box. their website says 1-2 days to process and ship out. its going on 6 days+ with no sign of it shipping out yet. Im about to drop my order and tell them to issue a refund back to my card. Am i being to harsh. Ive worked in retail running a few places that deals with ordeirng online/shipping and it was always 2 days max. I just cant figure out why it takes this long to ship in stock items. Whats the longest you guys have waited for instock items before?

10 business days for a BCG. Some people ship faster than others and it might have something to do with understaffing. It's still a tough economy.

I am in the exact same situation. I have placed five orders in the past two weeks. All but one of those orders has been shipped and are in my possession. I can probably guess who you ordered from.

I waited 3 months on an Optic once, I should have went with a different company, but none the less I did recieve it. IMO more than 2 weeks is too long on an instock item, shipping included.

It's only been 6 days, if you think about it, that's not all that bad. We've grown accustomed to super fast all the time

relax man, ordering on a tues night means, they will get it wed, process it between wed to thurs depending on how fast your cc clears,how staffed they are to handle orders. your probability at the back of the line. then depending on how they mail things out, they may wait for the carrier to drop off a shipment and then mail out the orders that have been processed all in one shot. or they go to the post office on specific days. that makes friday the soonest to ship. which will be processed in, sat it will go to the line to ship.... then most likely, sit over the weekend, no mail sunday, brings us to monday, (today) which could be its first day out of the mail carrier. so it could only have started it journey to you. dont be like a guy i know that called delton and bitched about were his package was because all he got was a recite and it was a week sense he ordered. his package arrived the next day.

The three vendors are:
Palmetto State Armory....

Rainier Arms....
All three are great companies with two of these having extremely fast shipping times.

It's just agrivating. I ordered these parts before noon on Tuesday as to get them out the door by wed. (which one company for filled and got me my order by friday). I just expect different especially since the site said 1-2 days process. Its just poor.
I finally got another response and to shut me up the generated a shipping label but the parts haven't started to move. All I have to say is this order better be right or this will be the last time i use this company.

as soon as i get the order i will come on and give the details. This is the first time using the company and i want to make sure my order gets here correct before i go any farther with this.

IMO...that is WAY too long for IN STOCK items to ship. I would have cancelled
the order.
If it's taking a company that long to generate an order, pull items off a shelf, put them in a box,
slap a label on it and ship it...they need more employees.
I'll admit...I have the patience of a 2 year old and I order everything I can from
MidwayUSA because of their same-day ship guarantee and that they offer USPS
Priority Mail as a shipping option. Did I mention I don't like to wait.
If something I want shows backordered, I will not still order it... I will go somewhere else
that has it.
I guess it boils down to how bad you really want/need the stuff and how long you're
willing to wait to get it.

It kinda obvious its PSA. They generated a shipping label they are the only ones that do that before they are anywhere near shipping. I don't understand why they do it when it gives people the impression it has shipped when in reality it may be days before they are ready to ship.

I've ordered from several places that do that. They print the label so they can stick it on the box and mail it out. The issue is how long they wait before taking it to the post office.

So let me just get this straight. You ordered on the 21st, then on the 26th, the THIRD business day you post that you haven't received your stuff yet? Then you receive a shipping notice on the FOURTH business day and you are still unhappy? Did you really expect to receive your order that Friday, the second business day?
I dunno, you might be expecting way too much.

Umm, are you serious? Anytime any business prints an online shipping label and enters your email in the shipping form (how else do you expect to receive shipping updates!) you get this result.

This^ if your going to make me wait ill go elsewhere and pay more if needed. I want my shit and fast. Ill pay the shipping for Priority Mail rather than get "free" were putting it on a pack mule your way this week ground shipping
