Please post below if you are definitely in and if so for how many. Here is a link to the product: LINK

I have one of CNC's detach A1 handles, and it is my favorite irons setup. You can install an A1 sight kit and substitute an A2 aperture for the ultimate KISS sighting system. The aformentioned product does NOT come with the A1 sight parts kit, which may be ordered elsewhere for $15 or less.

PRICE:
$85 per handle + $10 for shipping---the amount CNC suggested so I will not have to pay any shipping out of pocket ($10 shipping for up to 4 handles, shipping for more than 4 handles will be $2 extra per handle). If we buy 41-60, the price goes down to $80 each, and if we buy 61 or more the price goes down to $75 each. If we do make it that high, everyone will be refunded the appropriate amount. The price is set at $85 each as that was the price I was given for 25-40 handles. Make your checks payable for that amount, and if anything changes I will refund you the appropriate $$.

Payment MUST be made by check. Once you have posted below to confirm you are in, please send me a pm with the following info: Your name/address and how many you are purchasing. I will then send you a pm with my info so you can send the check. I will deposit funds into my account (making sure the checks clear) and then write one large check to CNC. I want to get everything done asap, so the deadline for payment will be February 20. All orders will be shipped either FedEx or UPS ground and will go out within 1 week of my receiving the handles from CNC.

UPDATE: I spoke to the owner of CNC---he said he will not begin production until all orders are in and until I have sent him the funds. Production will take an estimated 3-4 weeks. This pushes the ETA back to early April. That is my best estimate of when the handles will be in your mailbox. Funds must be postmarked by February 20th and sent to me. Once you post here to confirm you are in, send me a PM with your name/address and I'll send you my info so you can send a check.

I already own a CNC A1 carry handle.
I stripped out one of the knob screw inserts,
Justin of CNC sent me a couple replacements free of charge.

Excellent customer service!!

Here's what it looks like mounted to my light weight KISS gun.
Feel free to IM me with any questions.

Nice setup! Are you using it with a normal fsb or an f fsb? Did you have any issues zeroing it?

That's my one question, standard FSB or "F?"

When I spoke to CNC they said the detach handle is designed to be "the same height as a normal a1 handle." I would assume this means it will zero normally with a normal fsb and cause the front sight post to be screwed down further than normal when zeroed using an f fsb. But I don't know for sure.

No that's good info - I'd potentially be ordering an upper that'd sit underneath this handle, so I wanted to check!

F this and F that.

That barrel is a Bushmaster lightweight that's been cut down to 14.5 and a Phantom permemently mounted.

It has the normal FSB.

I am using the XS 27/7 tritium stripe front sight post and the tritium same plane rear sight.

No issues zeroing it in, I use the Col. Santose "Improved Battlesight Zero" method.

groups.msn.com/TheMarylandAR15ShootersSite/improvedbattlesightzero.msnw

Edit to add that I had one CMMG barrel with an F marked FSB, I put the non-tritium XS front and rear same plane sights (detachable carry handle) on it and used the Santose IBZ method and had no problems.

Edit to add that the front sight post co-wittnesses with the Eotech just fine.

Will standard A3 removable carry handle knobs work with this? I think I might be in. It would look good on my new Colt 6933 Commando

Are you still looking for 5 orders or so? If so, I'll put in an order for (1) handle.

I just found out about this now, but can send an M.O. out to you immediately upon receiving your mailing info.

These are massively cool, would be a great compromise between my desire for KISS and retro, yet not getting stuck with a hard-to-resell fixed A1 upper.

Sending PM as well.

Matthew,

You are absolutely right. This product gives you retro along with the ability to use a flattop when desired. It really is the best thing going IMHO.

Btw, I sent you a pm
