I would like to try to puttogether a group buy for Royal Robbins 5.11 Tactical pants and shirts. These are the tactical clothes that look like casualware. Also known as FBI pants.
Looking for other members who want in also looking for a dealer to sell to us. I will buy 4-5 pair myself.

I need two pairs of shorts before the weather changes, and was considering one of the short sleeve shirts with the hidden pistol pocket. I'm good on the pants, and couldn't get away with the vest.

I am wearing a pair of 511 pants right now, I just got in from work. Next to BDU's they are what I wear out in the field in the winter.
The pants are plenty thick and can be TOO hot at times. They do make shorts.
I could always stand another pair of pant/shorts.
The vests do make GOOD IDPA wear. Just weight down the gun side pocket with a small weight and your good to go.

Are these prices permeanent for ARFCOM members or do they have an expiration date? I just ask cause I want to order some things for this season and then some shorts and sort sleeve shirts for summer and want to know if I need to make the order all at once.

Does Royal Robbins make their retailers sign an agreement to not sell below a set retail price. All the net prices are the same but if you call the retailer they seem to be willing to work with you.
To pay retail is not the idea behind the group purchase as I understand it.That kinda defeats the whole group purchase thing if there is not a discount.

Let's say that I sell a flashlight for $40 and decide to do a group buy on it. I would take $10 off the cost if I got 10 buyers together. I did a group buy on the SF 6P and offered it for about $10 over cost because I had about 20 customers. It worked out pretty well for everyone....

u-baddog, retail on the 511s is $49.95. The manufacture doesn't allow us to sell them less than the minimum advertised price of $39.95. That is why we offered it at $39.95 delivered.

It seems the manufacture had set a limit. It just seemed to wide spread to not be a advertised low limit for retailers.

I spoke with my buddy there and asked why the price increase ? No price increase lately he said. Well I just paid less for the ones I bought in Dec. ?
He said I get the Homeboy discount for belonging to one of the ranges he shoots at. I had NO idea he was giving me a discount.
So I agree CMMG offer is a discount off retail with FREE shipping.

Normally, there would be one group buy per dealer allowed but due to the confusion of thinking this one was dead I suppose it can be resurrected. I will have CMMG start an order thread and the cutoff date.
