If you got 10 people together I could do free shipping. There's not really much mark up in LPK's.

Count me in for a set

It takes 50 LPK to even get any break from RRA and as Steve said, there is not really much markup in them to begin with.

Notice I didnt commit to any time frame ;-) I currently only have 1 available! I was told I'd have more soon.
They would be $53.33 each, shipped in the 48 states.

So for this mass purchase it would be $53.33?
Or did I just stare at the screen too long at this late hour?
The board average is $50 shipped.

I have not seen prices that low either. ADCO has given a really fair price (even lower than ours), since his includes shipping.

I think the LPK avg. is more in the mid 50's PLUS shipping.

Huh? Show me where the $50 (average) LPKs are because $53.33 is the best price I've seen.

Maybe I should clarify myself before I get jumped by all the store owners here on the board for trying to corner the market on lpk's.
The prices I mentioned are from private sellers here on the board that I have seen.

Oh sure beat up on the guy just cause he found a bargain. Geez I'm soooory. Does that mean I have to take my name off here too?
Now that I'm probably marked as a dickhead do I have permission to remain in the group buy? Or do I have to move to Lithuania in shame with my wife and kids and sell my 2 rifles before I go?
:(

Keep it up and we'll exile you to New Jersey.

Picking on a fellow Jersey guy, eh?

Well ladies, now it's personal!

<Cue the patriot music please...or hum "America the beautiful" to yourself>

We gun owners in NJ refuse to pick up and run from the liberal goons who run our fair state...we choose to stay and fight for our right, and "Not for the right to party" as the esteemed Beastie Boys once opined, but the right to keep and bear arms!

<MORE patriotic humming please>
No sir, we remain here at the front line fending off the Gun Control Robots with local Op-Ed pieces and strong support of our local gun club WHICH happens to be considered one of the best on the east coast Thank-you very much! Sure we could live in a more gun friendly state like Florida, but we'd have to wrestle gators...or another gun friendly state like Ohio, but then we'd have to wrestle Sen. John Glenn...or Oklahoma, where we'd have to wrestle...uh, we'd wrestle...Hey, what's in Oklahoma? Anyway! You lads in the gun reasonable states should be kinder to your New Jersey brothers...otherwise,

All kidding aside fellas, Medic-1 is a reasonable fellow who made a reasonable error.

As far as Jersey goes, we envy you guys living in states where the Constitution is understood. BUT but we won't let the liberal goofs chase us out of the state we love. Thank the lord for AR-15.com, where we good ole' Jersey boys rub elbows with our GREAT brothers out in more politically sensible states.

<okay, you can stop humming now>

Hey colt, bad experience with a BM LPK? Just curious and interested in your opinion.

Curious as to why you don't like the BM LPK also.

I'm curious too texascolt45?
I've never had any problems with BM's parts kits. Are you talking about a quality/specs issue, or do you mean you're just pizzed at BM for some reason? [:\]

I can't speak for TC45, but I like ArmaLite parts best because of the roll-pins.

ArmaLite (and RRA, IIRC) uses actual rolled-pins, as opposed to the split-pins that most other manufacturers use. These pins start easier, are less likely to bend/mushroom and resist walking as well or better than split-pins. They also won't 'gouge-out' the holes in your receiver. You can remove/replace rolled-pins over and over without damaging/enlarging the holes.

A small and subtle difference, but well worth it, IMO.

Oh yeah, the ArmaLite kits come in a nifty little plastic box that cen be re-used to hold other small parts.

The Nifty plastic box is the deal maker!!!!

No, I'm not kidding or being a smart ass. The plastic box is a good deal! Oh, and that real rolled pin thingy.

Seriously, sounds good.

Are we doing this? If so, someone please provide details, including manufacture and price. I may be interested.

Not sure how these things usually work, but I'll do what I can do. I'll take orders until until the 30th. Doesn't matter if I have 10 or not. Just add a note on the comment box that shipping is free for the group by. I'll ship as soon as they arrive. I currently only have the NM kits on the site, so you can order those and and I'll ship the standard and charge your card accordingly. The only stipulation I have to add is limiting each person to 1 LPK.

Hey Slash, do you know what kind of roll-pins DPMS uses? Brownells has the lower parts kit for $44.

The last DPMS kit I bought had split-pins.

RRA and ArmaLite are the way to go.

I haven't bought a lower kit from anyone but ADCO for over a year now. Steve is great to deal with, has excellent prices, offers expert advice, and gives superb customer service.

Only 3 people actually placed orders, and only 1 person got a parts kit. 1 submitted an invalid CC# and never returned my emails, the other indicated he was paying by check but the funds never arrived??

That stinks!
When you say "I'm in" you should be man enough to stand by your word.
Does a lower parts kit come with the buttstock asy.? I wouldn't think so, but don't knnow for sure.
