Seller whelched on our deal AFTER he received payment.

Timeline:
- The original post of these thread was for a Yugo M70 sling for sale for $23.00 shipped
- Contacted seller by email requesting pics of the sling
- Seller sent me a photo of the sling which also included a Yugo BHO magazine and a Yugo M70 Grip
- I offered to purchase the sling and the Yugo BHO mag for $35.00
- Seller countered with $35+$5 for shipping
- We agreed to discreet Paypal with confirmed address
- Payment was sent immediately
- Minutes later, seller told me that he would ship today
- Four and half hours later I receive this message: "Sorry but I have had to refund your money, can't ship the mag."
- I respond asking why and have yet to receive a response.
- Come to find he has now edited the thread to "Remove" which is also a violation of Marketplace Rules in addition to WHELCHING!

Notes:
Before he comes up with fabricated excuses, seller was made aware that I live in Upstate NY and NOT NYC. Following this notice and payment, he told me he would ship today.

Just received email from the Seller simply saying "Not legal." My opinion is this is a BS copout. He knew where it was going, he was made aware i twas legal. And if that were the case, that was just the Yugo Mag, and NOT the sling! Why "REMOVE" all evidence of a sling for sale as he did? There is more to this story that he is not telling.

You gave false info –––– Magazine is illegal to ship to anywhere in NY state know your laws and state where you are before sending payment. You only state USA in your profile.

You are not speaking to an child here, I know my laws VERY WELL. What my profile states in immaterial to our EMAIL CORRESPONDENCE in which you were made fully aware of my address. After receiving that email and payment, you responded that you would be shipping today. Cut the bullshit - if you found a better deal, so be it, I'm a big boy, I'll purchase elsewhere.

So after WHELCHING on our deal... and the REMOVING all info from the thread topic and post... it seems this seller is in full back pedal mode after receiving this negative.

He has now posted a NEW THREAD for the same sling.

If anyone is interested, it's up for grabs... but BUYER BEWARE!

Look, it's one thing to have personal opinion or to be extra cautious, whatever, but it's another to make a false accusation(especially one about a FELONY) just to save your ass from getting a negative feedback. I know the laws in NY, if you are going to make a claim that I'm wrong, you better sure as Hell know what you are talking about, instead of talking out of your *ss. Preban hicap magazines are perfectly legal in Greater New York State. However, ILLEGAL in NYC!

Wait, is this about a magazine or a sling?

The original sale was for the sling, but then I offered to purchase a sling AND a yugo hicap magazine. We agreed to both items for $40shipped. All information was sent via email as far as mailing info and payment was made via Paypal. Seller responded after payment and info and stated he was ship today.

A few hours later, he refunded the entire amount of $40 (for both the sling and the mag) claiming that he can not ship the mag. He never even offered to continue with the sling purchase. He then removed the thread info. It was not until I made a big stink of it that he placed a new ad for the sling.

So yes, he backed out of it.

I was selling a sling only on AR15.com - Mag was never listed on AR15.com for sale, so I do not know why this is being posted on this forum.

FYI : MAGAZINE IS POST BAN - MADE AFTER 1994, NOT LEGAL TO SHIP TO NY State.

Sling is still for sale, ( same sling/same price) buyer never stated he still wanted it. I removed then reposted because mag was mentioned on posting for sling even though mag never put up here for sale.

End of story.

First of all, your claim that the mag is "POST BAN - MADE AFTER 1994" is pure speculation. It's a Yugo BHO (not the knock off "Chinese Yugos" that are suspect. You have no information that can prove that it was made and/or imported after 1994. But let's get past that.

You are using the MAG issue to weasel your way out of this. The fact that the mag was not originally listed is pointless, it became part of our deal. But even if "seperate" when you decided to back out of our deal, you refunded the ENTIRE amount that I sent. If you had intended to still sell the sling, there was no reason to refund the entire amount... you follow? Second, you edited the the thread topic and subject with "Remove" BEFORE I posted in the thread regarding you're whelchin.

Want proof?
- The first thing I did was REPORT the thread with the reason being "Seller whelched and trying to hide the fact"
- At 4/24/2012 10:10:01 PM EDT, only a few minutes after my Reporting the thread I received a message from Gatorhunt regarding the thread.
- At Posted: Yesterday 10:24:24 PM EDT, I made the Update post with the timeline which was also edited at Last Edit: Yesterday 10:29:46 PM EDT
- Minutes later, you responded to my email asking why you backed out. You no doubt also received a SYSTEM MESSAGE regarding the Editing Rule
- You then made your first response at Posted: Yesterday 10:27:30 PM EDT
- Topic was moved to Feedback and you then started a new thread at Posted: Yesterday 10:44:04 PM EDT

Any MOD can verify the Timestamps by looking at the posts, edits and my PMs.

Timestamps prove you're LYING! Don't you just hate that? What else you got?

BTW, If you are wondering why I refused to send payment as "Gift" in Paypal, it's because buyer has absolutely no recourse when dealing with a lowlife seller/thief that could not send merchandise. I'm quite curious how things would have worked out if I had sent it as "Gift."
