-1 for cl007x

cl007x agreed to sell me his Romanian G AK for $600.00. On 27 March, I mailed a USPS money order in the amount of $600.00 to cl007x by USPS Priority Mail with a tracking number. According to the USPS tracking number, the payment was received and signed for on 29 March. On 30 March, I requested by email and IM that cl007 provide me with a shipping date on the weapon per request of my FFL license holder. cl007x never responded to my email or IM. On 2 April, I asked Dog1 for his assistance in getting a response from cl007x. Dog1 sent an email and IM to him requesting him to respond. cl007x logged on to this site, read the mail and never responded. At this point, I'm going to assume that cl007x is going to keep my money and not mail the weapon.
Please let me know if anyone can point me other steps I can take. Your assistance will really be appreciated.

I'm wondering what reason cl007x's son would have for logging on to the site after responding to Dog1's email yesterday. And no email of IM to me indicating when this will be resolved. I guess I'm too paranoid now.

So I asked him again.

Eric-If you get the chance, goto the PO and file an complaint against him for theft.

I have heard nothing about the refund and IMO this does not pass the smell test.

+1 on this. A visit from the Postal Inspectors will motivate quick action... Sorry about your trouble.

cl007x is still logging in and no response from him or his "son" regarding a refund––Last Login Date:4/10/2012 1:37:21 AM CDT.
I'm still waiting on the USPS to let me know if he cashed the USPS money order and the complaint I filed with the USPS Postal Inspector.

You might consider calling the Miami Dade PD and see about filing a theft complaint against him too.

Also, maybe you can post a thread in the Florida HTF and see if anyone there is with the MDPD and see if they can stop by his house.

I have sent him one more IM telling him that if the refund is not sent this week that his info will be entered into the Hall of Shame as a thief and his account locked.

I looked up his address and it is not a residence...which makes me suspicious of this.

My father will be discharge on Thursday and will take care of this matter ASAP. I can understand this gentlemans concerned but the reality is not going to change, He can contact whoever he wants as we have proved of my fathers condition and any person who have common decency and sense would understand when we show them paperwork. I don't beleive that sending my father threatnening and disrespectful message will help him get his money sooner. It just shows what kind of people he did business with. We dont want to stay with his money. I have not told him about these messages as I dont beleive its worth upsetting him as his health is still delicate But he is aware and concerned about the transaction and will follow through as soon as he is physically able to.
Maybe this person is used to dealing with thief and thugs but my father is a 68 year old man descent and hardworking who have worked hard for his money and doesnt need to steal anybodys money. Eric-It's been 3 days, my suggestion to you is to take what legal action you can. Post Office, Miami Dade police, etc.

What company? I have found nothing about a company.

Just his arrest record.

Please provide me with the information regarding his company as well. I've filed a theft report with the Miami Dade County Police Department - PD Report#120410136563. I will pass the info regarding the company to them.
Dog1- According to the USPS, he signed for and deposited and or cashed the money order at a JP Morgan Chase branch on 4/4/2012. I've notified the USPS Postal Inspectors of the above as well.

Yep, that's him, some of his arrests were for towing without a license etc etc.


You can check his name on the Clerk of Courts for Miami-Dade County and pull all the father and sons arrests up, they're public records.

Yea and some were for much much worse. impersonation, aggravated assault, etc. He must know someone or something cause he had a lot of nolle prosequi which means the DA was unwilling to prosecute...interesting... (that's sr btw, though Jr is similar with his not really having a conviction.)

I feel the need to add my input. My deal took a long time to complete as well. I heard the circumstances, and I gave the man the benefit of the doubt. I was patient and courteous, and I did not threaten him or his son. Today I received my pistol, but was disappointed to learn that I could not add positive feedback. The email conversations between me and Carlos were always positive, and I never in any way felt that I was being scammed. Things often happen that people cannot help, and you cannot expect someone who is not a member here to come in and start completing transactions on behalf of someone else. You shouldn't call and threaten someone's son because his dad just had a major surgery and cannot get you your product right away. If my dad had a major surgery, the last thing on my mind would be some website classified, there would be nothing you could do anyway. I would not want anyone other than me doing my EE transactions.

I feel that he should be allowed to give his side of the story now that he is able to. Things are not always as they seem, especially on the internet. For the record, I would certainly do business with him again. He is a good man, and I feel him and his son are undeserving of the lashing they have received. Especially his son, who was just trying to help.

So I'll just leave a +1 for Carlos here.

He and his son has dodged this from day one.

He's had his chance to reply here, even when he was supposed to be out of the hospital, but he's not.

I don't know if he was really in the hosptial or not, but based other info I have, I have my doubts.
